I was born and raised in Clearwater Florida where I began sailing at the age of 6. I began my competitive career in the Opti at the age of 8. As I progressed through the Opti, I began seeing the local windsurfing team practice and was entranced by the speed and athleticism the windsurfers were capable of. At the age of 11, I decided to move out of the Opti, and onto a windsurfing board.
My pre Olympic windsurfing consisted largely of Techno293, Kona, and RSX with some minor training in the Formula class.

My path into Olympic Sailing was given to me through a boat called the 49er. I began sailing this boat when I was 15, and was put up against world champions, and Olympic medalists. The 49er is what initially put me on the US Olympic Development team.
Additionally, I have received coaching from numerous Olympic sailors, who showed me the level I need to achieve to be one of the best.

In December of 2022, I graduated with my B.S. in Microbiology, with a minor in Infection Control. From then on, I have been a full time athlete, meaning countless hours training both on the water and in the gym.
In my free time, I love to do other water sports such as wakeboard, and fish, as well as some land based hobbies such as playing chess and piano. I have an older brother, and two little siblings that I love to spend time with, and hope to get them into sailing!
